Williamson County has been awarded a FY10 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) allocation of $1,216,521 to successfully support community development and affordable housing efforts for low and moderate-income areas throughout the County. The County will also reallocate funds originally awarded to the Georgetown Housing Authority Sierra Ridge project in the amount of $318,314. On July 13, 2010 Williamson County Commissioner’s Court approved the final CDBG FY10 Action Plan. The Action Plan is available for a 30 day comment period beginning July 14, 2010 running through August 12, 2010. In accordance with HUD regulations, the County encourages public participation to review and comment on the Action Plan; individual comments and responses will be considered in the final document. Comments must be received by 5pm on August 12, 2010 at the following address:
